Old Friend...

With the Fuji on the shelf, I hauled the Univega down from the attic, and rode it for the first time since March. It felt odd. Even odder than riding the three-speed, even though it was the only bike I rode for almost thirteen years. The saddle is different, the body positioning is different, the brake levers and shifters are in the wrong place... I guess I've completely acclimated to the Fuji. The brakes were also terribly squeaky from lack of use. The pads have hardened some.

I passed 1300 miles for the year tonight, closing in on 1362, which is where I finished last year. Still plenty of riding to be done this year.
