Lost in the Tubes
Aug. 6th, 2007 05:52 pmMore music from youtube, this time inspired by Teppy's posting of an "It's too hot" summertime playlist.
First up, the Who doing Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" at Monterey Pop. Watching Keith Moon play drums is an amazing thing. (And if you have time, there's another good version here. It's from 1989, so no Moon, but Entwistle is just as terrific.)
Next up, "Summer in the City" by the Loving Spoonful. Lip-synced, but what can ya do.
Finally, Noel Coward singing "Mad Dogs and Englishmen."
