I was going to stop at the Depot by me, but I was already aggravated from Stop & Shop, and there were a gazillion cars in the parking lot. It can wait until tomorrow evening.

Trader Joe's was remarkably okay, but then I got there at 1:30 and not 3. In and out in 35 minutes.

When I was working a third shift job, I realized the best time to go to the supermarket is about 2 a.m. during the week (provided you're going to a store that is open 24 hours a day).

Nobody but you and the stock personnel. No lines at the checkout, either.

Oh, yeah. When I worked nights at the theatre, I always did my grocering at 2. It rocked. And the restocking people knew to steer around me as I flat flew with my cart down the aisles.

I have, in fact, sworn never to go in to my town on a Saturday or a Sunday ever ever again.

While the weekends are bad here, Wednesday afternoon is a NIGHTMARE. senior citizen discount day. Everything moves slow and no one gets out of your way.
