Okay, that "no appreciable accumulation" forecast? Totally wrong. There's already, like, three inches on the ground, and it's really coming down. Feh.

Yikes. It totally stopped here and it never stuck to the pavement this time.

That's what we were supposed to get. You stole our weather. Give it back!

We were supposed to get rain down here near the coast. NSM.

did not steal your weather.

I was watching this thing on the weather channel last night and they said the Low pressure system was bringing in the initial moisture today, but a disturbance (something) was behind it and if they hit, then the whole coastline was probably gonna get more moisture than expected, but if they didn't hit, then the low would move northward causing more moisture your way and the disturbance would move south causing rain or wind or both south of us and we would be left in a bubble of nothing between them.

COME ON!! Don't mess with one of my politically incorrect gender generalities. ALL MEN like the weather channel and all that pressure movements and air stream bs. and you all understand it.

next thing you know you'll be saying you don't like The 3 Stooges, or trains, or big ships.

Actually, I *don't* like the Three Stooges. I liked them when I was a kid, but NSM anymore.

Trains and ships, OTOH, are almost as good as airplanes.

It's nice and warm here, but I'm heading to Toronto on Sunday.

I sense a flaw in my plan.

It was snowing very nicely here in Toronto tonight, big fluffy flakes just hammering down like they were in a hurry to land and collect their baggage, but in the end, it didn't amount to more than a dusting. 1 cm or two, maybe?

No promises that it won't be the shits when you're here though, it is just the time of year for it. I understand it doesn't snow much inside bars. Perhaps this coincides with your planning.

It's merely looking pretty and mostly melting on contact here so far. However, I suspect there'll be freezing pavement and black ice before long.

Yeah, that's my fear too.

It's stopped for the moment, but I'm told we're going to get hit again tonight. Not that I have any reason to believe them.

Appreciable for you guys -- who are used to getting a couple of feet at a time.

I think you may have had our forecast by mistake. We're expecting little snow showers almost everyday for the next week -- so far as I can see.

I have a co-worker who thinks we're going to get a big April blizzard this year.

sumi - you tell that co-worker to shut its mouth. APRIL!!! I will be an angry angry monster if we get a big storm in april.

Actually, I kind of do, as long as it's not while I am in NYC.
