It's snowing like nobody's business outside. The accumulation has been slow, but steady. Equinox is tomorrow. Can't wait.

Seton Hall beat Arizona last night in the first round of the NCAAs, so go them. The NCAAs are a tough row to hoe. You have to win six games in a row, against increasingly better competition, to win. ou just can't have a bad night. Not at all easy. Didn't get to watch much of the game last night, and it's probably just as well, given that they trailed most of the game. Still, the Hall managed to hang close, and come from behind victories are sweet. Next up is Duke.

I'm already trailing Tom in our annual tournament pool. None of the underdogs I picked yesterday won, while he had Manhattan. He crushed me last year, IIRC. Going out there next weekend for our annual March Madness and Ribs party.

Volleyball was fun last night. We lost every game but the last, but in that one we crushed the other team. Odd that, how we suddenly could do no wrong after sucking all night. Plus, Dennis brought baby J. to meet everybody (and to get her out of the house to give Sharon a chance to study). She's nine weeks old and a cutie. Got to hold her for a little while, and she was good as gold. All in all, a good night.

My first round picks are here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/jerrymcl89/6848.html?thread=16576#t16576) and further rounds are href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/jerrymcl89/6848.html?thread=16832#t16832">here

I pick based almost purely on emotion. Time was when I followed college basketball much more closely (like, when I was sports editor of the college paper), but babies and Buffy have taken up my attention.

If PC makes the Final Four, I may have to cut out my own heart with a rusty spoon...

I don't follow it as closely as I once did either, but the tournament always gets me going.

Yay for good nights. We'll take 'em however and whenever they come. Good for you!

Our spring snow fell in the morning and melted in the afternoon, but today: no snow!

It's all sunny and bright. Maybe you'll get some sunshine tomorrow or Sunday.
