Finger Update and the Friday Five

As predicted, my index finger is stiff and sore. My right elbow is sore, too, the result of stopping a hard shot one handed (one forearmed, actually). I'll live.

1. ...your first grade teacher's name?
Mrs. Sutton. She lived next door to the school.

2. ...your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?
Crusader Rabbit, the precursor to Rocky and Bullwinkle. Very funny stuff, with adult sensibilities (very much like R&B), and horrific puns (they once visited the town of "Ifanyonecan, Yukon"). Later it would've been The Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner Hour. Another one I liked a lot was The Beatles cartoon series, which was fab.

3. ...the name of your very first best friend?
Richie B. Were were best friends all through grammar school.

4. ...your favorite breakfast cereal?
Instant Ralston.

5. ...your favorite thing to do after school?
Play games.

Crusader Rabbit! And Rags!

I never saw cartoons as a child, until I was tennish or so, but I got addicted to Crusader Rabbit.
