Still Hot, but...

...it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable. I think it was less humid. Also, the wind changed. Yesterday it was north-ish, and wasn't cooling at all. I tried reading in the truck down at my usual spot by the airport during lunch, but cut it short because it was so damned uncomfortable. Today the wind was out of the southwest, coming in off the water, and it was actually pleasant, despite the temperature in the low nineties.

Didn't ride yesterday, but had a nice one tonight. I had to work late, so I didn't get to the path until about 6:30, and there weren't many people out. I don't know if it was the hour, or if the weather scared people off, but I'm not complaining.

The heat is supposed to ease up some tomorrow.
