Step 1: Put your media player on random.
Step 2: Pick your favorite lines from the first 20 songs that play.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come
from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

I weeded out repeats. Also songs that are only instrumentals. ( Look behind the curtain )

Christmas Time Is Here by Golly...

The Christmas card is done. It only took me about twelve hours, give or take.

I always think projects like this should only take an hour or two. I mean all I'm doing is running a filter on a photo. Of course, when you don't have a photo of the exact scene that you have in your mind's eye to hand, then the hours start piling up as you manipulate the photo(s) you do have to match.

I'll run them off on the color laser at work tomorrow. I have to be there tomorrow anyway to do, you know, work. Bah. Humbug.

This Year's Christmas Card

I much prefer starting with a photo that I've actually taken, as opposed to finding some random photo on the net. I actually had the idea for this year's card last year, but I couldn't find a base photo I liked, even after searching the net. So I went with a completely different idea, one which I think turned out great. That one was pretty easy. I already had the perfect photo, so no need to manipulate it.

This year I, as usual, had no idea what to use. I got lucky. I happened to be looking through some old slides, and I came across a photo I'd taken, like, 28 years ago that was exactly what I'd been looking for last year. Huh.
