Back to the Grind

Back at work after taking Monday afternoon and all of Tuesday as sick days. Feh. Had a low-grade fever to go with the cold, which migrated down to my chest, as usual. Spent the time napping, doing mindless work (aka archiving), reading electronic versions of old comic books (I now have the LoSH back to 1973, woo hoo!) and pumping myself full of aspirin, guaifenesin, chlortrimeton, and sudafed. Feeling slightly better today. The fever's gone, and I'm not coughing much at all. The preemptive strike on my lungs with the guaifenesin seems to have worked especially well. We'll see.
