If I were a Springer-Verlag Graduate Text in Mathematics, I would be William S. Massey's A Basic Course in Algebraic Topology. I am intended to serve as a textbook for a course in algebraic topology at the beginning graduate level. The main topics covered are the classification of compact 2-manifolds, the fundamental group, covering spaces, singular homology theory, and singular cohomology theory. These topics are developed systematically, avoiding all unecessary definitions, terminology, and technical machinery. Waiting for the Finale

Still waiting for Angel to download. Very slow today, and I didn't get started until about six.

Lovely day today, sunny and in the seventies until just around when I left work, when the clouds rolled in. Naturally. I didn't let it stop me from going for a ride. Did just under twelve miles. Right knee is still stiff at the end, but it didn't hurt while riding today or Sunday, so this too shall soon pass. Felt good to be out. It was still about seventy, with a light west wind.
