Ob Bookcase Update
Apr. 3rd, 2003 11:55 pmI've finished finishing. They're done. I varnished the last one tonight, and I'll probably install them Sunday. Now to find some decent maple for the face frame.
It was funny. FX was running the S6 Buffy finale this evening, and all through the fight in the magic shop I was concentration on the detail features of the Magic Box's bookcases as Willow and Buffy reduced them to splinters. Obsessed? Me? Nah! (They have a different face frame, although the front edging on the shelves will be similar. They're almost the same color, too...)
Also finished the Wimsey DVD set with Gaudy Night. The mystery is a weak and uninteresting, but at least there's the kiss at the end.
