About Damn Time

Almost forgot to mention it, but my garden has finally achieved real tomatoes, not just cherries. Yesterday's harvest was a Northern Exposure, a Jubilee (which is yellow), and nine more cherries (bringing the season total to sixteen). I also mowed the lawn for the first time in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping for a good couple of days of rain, because the front yard is really starting to get burnt.

ION, something I had for lunch really didn't agree with me. I feel like crap, so I'm sitting here goofing off at work, watching a mlb.com Gameday webcast of the Dodgers-Cubs game. The Dodgers just took a 2-1 lead on Greg Maddux, who's being hit hard this inning.

You know, I'm thinking this "internet virus" thing may be more than a metaphor. I'm in the second day of ickies, with a day-before the physical symptoms of weepies. Friends as far-flung as eastern NC, Utah, and LA have reported the same symptoms.

Seriously, DH and I came down with it, me at home, he at work, the same symptoms: achiness, upset tum, general stomach flu stuff. Hope you feel better soon.
